Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, what is it? Does not eat or give in the head? For years we have been hearing about Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. Many heard this again. What are these technologies? In this post, I will discuss how they work and what are the differences between them. Virtual Reality is abbreviated “VR” and Augmented Reality is abbreviated “AR”. So let’s not risk talking directly about today.

Virtual Reality

Let’s try to understand the acoustic meaning of virtual reality. The word “reality” means the original and the word “virtual” does not actually mean it. Hey, what did it mean? Why the original is not there again? If it is not really how is it? Am I real, or am I not? Oops … please stop thinking this time. Am I not here to discuss this topic? Virtual Reality is a sense that you are not in a world using a headset, but you will feel that you are there. But in reality, you are where you are sitting. Okay, I won’t tell. As an example, I am trying to clear this up. To use VR you will need a VR headset. Now you have to look at this VR headset. The VR headset runs through your phone or computer. Now the video is played in it. Video is 3 degrees or 3d. Now when you watch that video with a VR headset, it seems that you have gone to that video. And you’re part of that video too. But in reality, you are sitting in your house. So, guys, this is the work of virtual reality technology.

Virtual Reality vs Augmented Reality

Suppose you have now read a VR headset. And the video of the elephant membrane has been loaded into your VR headset, but you will feel at home as if you have gone to the elephant. There are elephant lakes around you, lots of people and lights and you’re just walking around and seeing everything yourself. If your video is 1 degree, the head of the video will move as you move your head. And give you a real feeling. That doesn’t really matter.

Google Cardboard is seen as an example of virtual reality technology. Google Cardboard is a VR headset where your mobile phone is fitted. The front has two small lenses. As a result, you can see the display of your mobile phone in two parts. One to the right and the other to the left. The footage of the video to be played inside is lightly curved to the right and left. So when you put Google Cardboard in your eye and play any 4-degree video and you move your head the video will also move in that direction.

Virtual Reality is proof that you are in one place, you have not gone anywhere and the VR headset will feel like you are somewhere else and you are a part of it.

Examples of Virtual Reality

To illustrate the reality of virtual reality, I have already mentioned the Google Cardboard. Google Cardboard is a VR device. If we talk about high-quality complete VR, then it means “Oculus Rift”. Oculus is a very large company, and for the past several years they have been working on Virtual Reality. Other than Oculus, if I give you an example, I can say “Samsung Gear VR”. I wrote about the Samsung Gear VR while writing the Samsung Galaxy S5 review. It is also a virtual reality device manufactured by Samsung. Also, Sony has “Project Morpheus” and HTC’s “Vive”.

All of this is a virtual reality headset. That must be seen. Now you end your relationship with the house you are sitting in, or lying down or standing, and you will move into a whole new world.

The benefits of virtual reality

I told you before that you can watch a 3D video with VR. Also, with VR headset you can watch a 3-degree video on YouTube. You can play 3D games. Virtual reality technology is very cheap, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy it. Many times VR does all the work on your phone. For example, your phone is mounted on Google Cardboard. And your phone’s screen can be seen in two apps through apps. And to look through its lens, you have everything looks big and real.

But, it’s important to have an emergency app on your phone to use virtual reality. But if you do not have the urgency on your phone, it is not that you cannot use or enjoy virtual reality. But when you put on a VR headset you can only watch the video on a big screen. You might think you’re sitting in a movie hall watching a video. There is nothing else you can do.

If you have jerkscope on your phone, you can enjoy the VR. Zero scopes are the hardware on your phone that will tell your phone’s software the angle of your head. That means when you move your head, your video will move too. And you will be able to feel a real feeling. Suppose you are watching a video where you are watching the Eiffel Tower. Now if you are standing upright you will be shown a straight Eiffel tower if you raise your head, the Eiffel Tower will be shaken and you will see the head of the Eiffel Tower. I hope you understand the benefits and disadvantages of having an emergency.

Augmented Reality

Friends, let’s talk about Augmented Reality. Augmented Reality, a more advanced version of Virtual Reality. Remember, what happens in virtual reality? You live in a house but you feel you are not at home and have gone to another world. But if you are sitting at home on Augmented Reality you will feel like you are sitting at home, you have not gone anywhere. But the footage you see here seems to be happening inside your house. Suppose you were watching a video of a dinosaur with AR, now you would think that the dinosaur was sitting inside your house. Maybe the dinosaurs burst into the walls of your house. Unlike virtual reality on Augmented Reality, you will not feel like you have gone to the dinosaur world, but rather you will feel that both of you, the dinosaur, have gone home. So guys are not nice things? Yeah, definitely a great technology. And in the days ahead, this technology will shake the whole world. When it comes to Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, it seems that we are really living in the 21st.

Examples and uses of Augmented Reality

An example of Augmented Reality is Google Glass. It’s like glasses. When you read Google Glass, you won’t feel like you’ve gone anywhere. You will be in the real world but a small screen will come out on one side of your real world. Where you can watch videos or work.

Think you’re reading Google Glass to ride a bike. But you can see your bike and the road, but at a corner, a map will be up where your bike is going and your location is described.

If a lot of advanced Augmented Reality devices talk about it, then it means “Microsoft is the lens”. This is a great Augmented Reality device. Here you can create many virtual objects right in your world. Suppose you were thinking about buying a dressing table. Now it is possible to know how this dressing table will look in your home or what color or design will be best after buying the dressing table and putting it in your room. But if you have read Microsoft’s lens and play the structure of the dressing table on your tablet or mobile, you will see a virtual dressing table in your room. You can see that virtual dressing table from all sides, that looks very original to you. If you want, you can try to change this color and design. You all seem to be alive. You will not feel like you have a screen in one corner of your eye or you have moved into a whole new world. In real life, you will see all virtual objects as real. So here is my question, well, what would it look like in Ghost’s movie Augmented Reality? Oh my God, it’s scary to think!

The difference between Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

By reading the above paragraphs, you can now understand the difference between virtual reality and Augmented Reality. Nevertheless, once you have sold, let your cassette not cackle like a bad CD when you tell your friends about Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
